Lower Blepharoplasty
Aim Reduction of eyebags and wrinkles of the lower
eyelid
The incision is just below the eyelash line out
into the laugh line by the side of the eye for
a short distance. The excess fat is taken away,
then the skin is straightened out to remove most
of the wrinkles and the overlapping skin is removed

Scarring
In the crease lines around the eyes, usually inconspicuous
Recovery
2 to 3 weeks
Final Result Visible
4 to 6 months. Removal of the eyebags is permanent,
but wrinkles are likely to recur at a natural
rate
Quadrilateral Blepharoplasty
Aim Improves signs of ageing around the eyes.
It is simply an upper and lower blepharoplasty
combined.

Very variable. Scarring
In the crease of the lines around the eyes, usually
inconspicuous.
Recovery
2 to 3 weeks, lasting several years, but the wrinkes
recur. Final
Result Visible
Up to 6 months.
